PHARMACY
The pharmacy at Al-Falah Hospital provides a complete range of pharmacy services to outpatients and in patients while maintaining a safe, efficient system for dispensing medications.The pharmacy is staffed by highly trained registered pharmacists and certified pharmacy technicians.
CASUALTY/EMERGENCY
The Emergency & Trauma facility at Al-Falah Hospital has beds where critically ill or injured patients with life-threatening conditions, are immediately taken under the care of a team of specialized emergency doctors and the patient is evaluated, resuscitated and stabilized as per protocols.
There are operating rooms catering to trauma patients with 24x7 availability of specialists in trauma surgery, orthopaedic surgery, surgical critical care, rehabilitation medicine and emergency medicine to adequately respond and care for the various forms of trauma
OPD Services
Outpatient department (OPD) being the first point of contact of the patients with the hospital services, is an integral part of Al-Falah Hospital. OPD services are provided 24X7 by well experienced staff.

Operation Theatre
There are 4 Functional operating rooms well equipped with Modern equipment & Technology under the guidance of Super Specialized Doctors with 24x7 availability of specialists in surgery, orthopaedic surgery, surgical critical care, rehabilitation medicine, ENT, Gynecology & Obstetrics, Ophthalmology and emergency medicine to adequately respond and care for patients.
Intensive care Services
Intensive care is a crucial medical specialty caring for patients who are critically ill. They may require support for instability (hypertension/hypotension), airway or respiratory compromise (ventilator support), acute renal failure, cardiac arrhythmias, or the cumulative effects of multiple organ failure, more commonly referred to now as multiple organ dysfunction syndrome. The Critical Care units at the Hospital are a combination of many specialties and technologies, offering the possibility of survival to patients who are acutely and critically ill. Our ICUS are designed and managed based on the fact that methodical organization of Critical Care services influences important overall outcome measures such as mortality, length of stay and infection rates. There are multidisciplinary ICUs as well as ICUs dedicated to post cardiac surgery patients, stroke patients, post-transplant patients, as well as special ICUs for neonates and pediatric cases.

Blood Bank
On the basis of growing blood Transfusion needs of patient’s viz. delivery patient, caesarean section cases and major operation cases, we have established a blood bank in our hospital with all modern facilities and equipments required for the purpose. We have also received license for collecting, storing and supplying whole blood for this purpose from the competent authority. Our blood bank is already functioning and catering to the need of our indoor hospital cases as well as we are also proving the blood to the needy patients of surrounding hospitals and clinics.
Laundry Service
The laundry is equipped with tumble dry system / washer extractors that run 24 hours. “Segregation of linen is very important in hospital laundry, so we have separate machines for washing infected linen from the OT. Each type of linen is washed in different cycles. The wash cycle is such that linen given to the laundry today is recycled back within 24 hours.

The Al-FALAH School of Medical Science and Research Centre Library was started in 2017 with a collection of more than 3500 books,206 DVDs , national and international journals. The collections are arranged systematically covering all the major areas of medical sciences. The primary mission of this library is to support the educational and research programs of the Medical Science & Research Center of Al-Falah University by providing physical and intellectual access to information. In accordance with the objectives of the library we are developing a comprehensive collection of documents useful to its members. We hope that this library will become one of the prestigious libraries in the whole region.

Reading Room
We have spacious and well-illuminated Air conditioned reading rooms having Carpet area of 1253 sq. ft. / 116.43 sq.m. This has seating capacity for 150 library users. The patrons of the Library as well as other authorized Library users can also make use of the reading rooms attached to the library with their own reading material and personal books which are otherwise not allowed in the Library.
E-Library reading room
Having seating capacity for thirty readers.Internet browsing having both LAN connectivity with a good number of computers. An area of 906.44 Sq.ft. /84.24 sq. mts.

We have subscribed Twenty National & International Print Journals at present.

Library rules for Circulation of Books

Library has an open access system.

All the shelves are properly cited with subject citations

Online Public Access catalogue is available in the library, which may be referred in case of difficulty.

Online searching of documents through OPAC is available on the computers.

The reading material is not to be kept back in shelves after use. It is to be left on the reading table for the library staff to stack properly.

The issued books/journals once issued can not be taken INSIDE the library beyond Issue-Counter

All the library transactions are stopped 30 minutes before the schedule closing time of the library.

The administration reserves the right to ask any user who is not complying with library rules &/or not carrying the library I. Card in the library premises to leave the library or even cancel the membership.

I. Cards can be checked by library staff or their appointees .

Reading material already borrowed by some user can be “Reserved” by filling out a “Reservation Slip” and depositing at the issue counter. The member who reserves the material will be informed as soon as the material is returned. The person who reserves it will have to pick it up within two working days from the time she/he is informed.

The reminders for the overdue books may be sent or displayed on the library notice board, but it is not obligatory on the part of the library authorities to do so. Members are advised to be vigilant themselves to avoid the overdue
A user can register them for the membership of the Library. Research scholars, faculty, students of other universities/organizations are also permitted to use the library on written request; or on a letter of recommendation from the concerned organization. All Students, Faculty and staff members are issued bar-coded library membership cards. Their entitlements, in terms of the number of books that can be borrowed by them, are as below:
